Behind the name

Feather & Steel was born from the belief that strength can be both graceful and bold. Inspired by two women with different gifts, the name reflects the balance that built this brand.

Feather is the dreamer and archer—guided by creativity, intuition, and vision.
Steel is the steady force—grounded in resilience, courage, and action.

Together, we created more than a coffee business. We created a place where storytelling, craftsmanship, and feminine strength meet. In every chapter we serve, you’ll find a little of both: softness and fire, beauty and backbone, comfort and edge.

Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is the creative mind behind many of the story-driven details and thoughtful touches that shape each experience. With a love for coffee, books, and meaningful moments, she draws inspiration from atmosphere, flavor, and the small things that make something memorable. She also has a deep appreciation for the science behind a well-crafted cup, believing precision and creativity belong hand in hand. From developing imaginative drink chapters to creating a warm and welcoming feel, Kaitlyn believes great coffee should be both comforting and a little unexpected.

Jennifer brings creativity, care, and quiet strength to every chapter she helps create. A chef by trade, she is the talent behind many of the house-made syrups and thoughtfully crafted drinks, blending bold ideas with a refined palate. Having previously worked on a coffee farm, Jennifer carries a deep appreciation for ethically sourced coffee and the hands behind every bean. Fierce yet gentle, she has a way of making everyone feel seen, welcomed, and right at home.
